Where would I find chocolate candy molds?
KinuMae Asked: Where would I find chocolate candy molds?
I want to make chocolate candies and truffles but I only found a very small selection at Micheal’s craft store. I wanted some squares and traditional shapes but found shapes that were like for kids like hearts, animals, etc.

Check and see if there is a cake supply store in your area. They often carry them. JoAnn’s may also carry them. Hobby Lobby has them in store and on line. Here is a site that sells them.

at craft stores, supermarkets, and cooking stores you can usually find molds but if you can’t then you can use one of these websites:
Kitchen Krafts
Confectionery House

Try a bulk food store or cooking supply place.

How to make chocolate milk that tastes like cocoa pebbles milk?
Paul Asked: How to make chocolate milk that tastes like cocoa pebbles milk?
I recently bought a box of Cocoa Pebbles and the chocolate milk that is formed from the combo of the cereal and milk makes something divine.Does anyone know what exactly makes the chocolate milk taste so good?It tastes so much better than normal chocolate milk made from chocolate syrup or power.I want to try to create a chocolate milk that has a similar taste of that made from cocoa pebbles and milk.Any info or suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Jacob Answered:
Make regular chocolate milk and put pure sugar in it. That’s basically cereal for you.
Bryn from CUO Answered:
It might be that the cereal picks up some malt flavoring. Try starting with a glass of Ovaltine, perhaps adding a little more sugar or chocolate.

Try again with new chocolate but decrease cooking time
Holly Answered:
Oh man, the number of times I’ve done this!
Well, in future i would suggest cooking it in short bursts (like 30 seconds) and stirring and then repeating til its melted.
But if it does go hard and messy, you can just add a little bit of cream and stir it in. (not too much though!) this usually helps.
Once its gone all hard and messy, you’ll never get it back to normal but i do find that the cream does help to at least make it kind of melty again.
If you don’t have cream just use melted butter or marg. (but be aware that this can make it go quite oily).
Bin Lionel Answered:
You can make chocolate sauce out of it: Put it in a saucepan, add a couple spoons water or milk. Cook on low heat and whisk well and it should become smooth and silky, it won’t harden like the original chocolate but it is a usable sauce. Hope this can help 🙂
Bryn from CUO Answered:
It’s burned. It can never be good chocolate again. Even if you eat it as is, it will taste burned and the texture will feel funny in your mouth.

What can I use instead of baking soda?
Yahoo User Asked: What can I use instead of baking soda?
Out of baking soda. Would Baking powder works for making chocolate chip cookies?
Answers:
You can substitute baking powder in place of baking soda (you’ll need more baking powder and it may affect the taste), but you can’t use baking soda when a recipe calls for baking powder.

Can you make chocolate chip cookies with mini morsels?
Jackie Dean Asked: Can you make chocolate chip cookies with mini morsels?
I only have mini chocolate chips but i still want to make chocolate chip cookies. I know “but bigger ones” but they don’t sell them at the store and the next closest is 46 miles away. So its wait until shopping day or figure out a way to make them.

Jane Doe Answered:
Of course. Just use a little less because more fit into a cup than normal sized morsels. They will still taste the same 🙂

Yes.

Chocolate covered strawberries?
ME Asked: Chocolate covered strawberries?
I have 6 people coming over (7 including me) and I want to make chocolate covered strawberries. I’m not sure how many chocolate BARS (Hershey’s) I need or how many strawberries, so if you could tell me, I’ll be very grateful. Thanks!
Answers:
browneyes Answered:
id make like 3 each and chocolate bark works the best for dipping the strawberries because its not as oily as hersheys chocolate!
Someone Answered:
I would suggest making about 24-30 chocolate covered strawberries. I have never made them with Hershey chocolate bars so I don’t know how many to use. I have made them with Hershey milk chocolate chips and one bag was enough. I also find that chips are easier to melt the chunks of chocolate.
